If you are in college then scholarships and pocket money from parents are the main source of income for you. Most of the time, this sum is not sufficient to meet expenses. Here are some tips which you can use to save and make money along with your studies.

Improve your grades and earn a good sum in the form of scholarship or grant from the college at the end of the semester.
2.Search a part time job
Search for a part time job so that you can earn some dollars without affecting your studies. For this, first analyze your skills. Find out your strength and weakness. Find out what you can do along with your studies. Ask yourself what you can do. What skills you have? Can you paint? Can you repair a car?
If you are good at designing and have computer skills then you can also opt for web designing. This will not only give you the financial independence but also give you a start with your carrier in the computer industry.
There are number of things you can do along with your studies. You can take baby sitting, mow a lawn or work in a garage or restaurant, take private tuitions. You can also take up your hobby as a carrier. This will not only develop your skills but also give you an insight of what you can do once you complete your college.

- Always think before you spend. Ask yourself whether you really need the thing that you are going to purchase.

- Reach out the stores which sell the second hand items. You can find some of the luxury items in such stores in prefect condition.
- Ask for the student discount when you reach the theater to enjoy the movie or your favorite concert. If possible try for the matinee instead of evening shows.
- Share the room with your friends. This way you can cut down on the rent that you pay.
- Take the membership of credit unions. Such unions offer students loans at low rate of interest.
